Carl was a first responder to the tragedy at the towers. He grew up in Brooklyn and flew back from Juneau, Alaska to help out his firemen buddies. He witnessed a lot in the aftermath of the collapse, and a stitch might be beneficial to his healing if he so chooses. I worked on the 99th floor as a temp for Marsh and McClennan on Sept. 10th. Carl and I have shared our stories with one another. He is the first person I felt I could really talk to about that day here in Juneau. He is also a dad and a soccer coach.
