Major Johnathan M. Hurwitz was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant of Finance in 1996 upon graduation from Creighton University. Major Hurwitz’s assignments include Camp Casey Korea, Sinai Egypt, Schofield Barracks Hawaii, Zambawanga Philippines, and Afghanistan. His current assignment is Deputy Program Manager for the High Energy Laser Technology Demonstrator. He has earned numerous military awards and decorations. MAJ Hurwitz is married with two sons Samuel and Elijah. He puts America first in his heart and in his commitment to the United Sates Army. His pride can be seen on his face whenever he talks about America and his service.
