As a high School teenager during World War II Dale lived in California where he would go to school during the night and then when out of school would work a day shift at the ship yards building ships for the war effort. In the 50’s Dale served a 3 year enlistment with the 1st Armored Division as a tank commander serving 12 months duty in the Korean War. (Pictured: Dale Best stitching for Russ Jobman)
