John Neuenschwander, Branson

(Nominated by Peg Neuenschwander)
Veterans Week, Factory Merchants Mall
November 9, 2010

John spent 10 years in the Navy during the Vietnam War era.  He received the Navy Achievement Award as he “consistently served with distinction and in a manner far superior to that expected of a man of his rating.  His “can do” attitude and professional competence provided inspiration and instilled confidence in his fellow workers…..”  Now he continues to show this “can do” attitude and competence as he serves as Mayor of a 4th class city–Lowry City, MO.  He has returned to his hometown and is working to make it a great place to live, work, and play.  He would be extremely honored to stitch on The National 9/11 Flag.
