Robert Hutcheson has been with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office for 16 years and has been with the Dallas Valley Rural Volunteer Fire Department for 20 years. He also is a member of Polk County Search and Rescue Team in addition to being a member of the Western Arkansas Fire and Rescue Association. The night of the April 9, 2009 tornado in Mena, Ark. Robert immediately began transporting injured people to the hospital. Robert’s call above duty are too numerous to list here, but he will give his all no matter what the situation regardless of his own comfort or safety. Robert really is a local hero to Mena and Polk County. I appreciate your sincere consideration to give Robert the historic privilege to stitch the National 9/11 Flag.
