Captain Ed is a man of character, a man of strong principles.  His list of achievements is long:  He is one of the founders of the Pease Greeters in 2005 and at the age of 80 retired in July 2010 as Chairman of Pease Greeters.  In 2008, he was named Marine of the Year for the New England Division.  He was in the Korean War and earned a Silver Star for gallantry in action.  He has a master’s degree in education/administration from Tufts University.   The list goes on and on, but one thing remains – his dedication to community, to service to his country.  He has touched countless lives from young to old.  He’s fighting for himself at this time with stage 4 Breast Cancer and just recently finished participating in a fundraiser calendar for BreastCancerStories.org  I think New Hampshire would be honored to “give back” to Captain Ed for all he has done for family, friends and soldiers!
