Roger Hager is a true hero.  He has served, and continues to serve, his country, state, county, and community for his entire adult life.  He joined the U.S. Army in 1976, straight out of high school at the age of 17, where he served until retirement in 1996.  He then returned home to serve his county and community, where he has served as the Executive Director of the Claiborne County 911 for over fifteen years.  Roger is responsible for all call-taking and dispatching of every emergency responder in the county.  He also served as a member of the Tennessee State 911 Board.  Roger is the Chairman of the Claiborne County Homeland Security Committee and Vice Chairman of the Local Emergency Planning Committee. For over 12 years, he has also been a member of the Claiborne County Volunteer Rescue Squad, where he is also the Squad treasurer.
