Chellie has been involved in the community for years, supporting the military, veterans, homeless, and countless other projects. These include: District Coordinator, United Service Organization (USO); Sock Monkey Ministries providing comfort to Service Members suffering from Traumatic Brain Injuries and children of deployed Servicemen and women; Advisor, PA Cares (Returning Service Member Resiliency Task Force) to assist in reintegration following deployment; Medical Evacuation/Relief Coordinator, Hurricanes Katrina and Rita; Founder, Soldier’s List, whose activities include creating care packages for deployed military, and buying supplies and building materials for new schools in Iraq and Afghanistan; Auction and Walk Committees, American Heart Association; Mission Family, March of Dimes, Board of Directors. She was also chosen as the 2008 Military Spouse of the Year.
