Jasmine is seventeen years of age. She has dedicated her short life to helping others. She started with the giving of her time to the Girl Scouts of America and participated in many outreach programs helping the elderly, the impoverished and the Girl Scouts of America Organization. She also helped to take care of her father, who died 8 years ago, one year after being diagnosed with Sarcoidosis. Since then Jasmine has volunteered at church events, joined the National Honor Society, the Key Club, and the Band which all have community services as part of their program. Furthermore, Jasmine helped out at the Boys and Girls Club for approximately two years. She also volunteers at Selbyville Middle School to help out with whatever needs to be done. Additionally, Jasmine helps at Sussex Tech High School by tutoring her peers after school. Jasmine in known for her generous nature and willingness to give back to the community and others. She works very hard and does not expect to be rewarded. Therefore, I am nominating my daughter, Jasmine Anthony, to be given the privilege of stitching the National 9/11 Flag.
