MST1 Scott Morton is an outstanding Coast Guardsman stationed in Oklahoma City.  A native of Mustang, OK, he has served in the Coast Guard for over 10 years and is currently stationed at USCG Unit CITAT.  His current duties include serving as a HAZMAT instructor and HAZMAT advisor to U.S. Army units deploying overseas.  At his last assignment, he served as Recruit Drill Instructor at Training Center Cape May, NJ where he trained hundreds of new recruits for service in the Coast Guard.  He is a shinning example of the Coast Guards core values of “Honor, Respect and Devotion to Duty”.
