Linda Miller, Ellijay

Mrs. Linda Miller was an inspiration to all she met. She was an educator for many years, however, she accomplished much more than educating. She changed lives and urged students to do the same. She was not afraid to push the limits and step on toes. She taught me how precious life was and that it was my duty to not only live it to the fullest, but change others lives along way. She taught me the importance of love and relationships. She was my cheerleader, my shoulder to cry on, my teacher, my 2nd mother, my comic relief, my biggest critic and biggest support. She was diagnosed my senior year, 2005, with cancer and she also passed in that same year. I find myself daily encountering moments or situations in which I would love to call her or borrow her shoulder. I was so blessed to have known her and to have had the pleasure of being one of her students.
