Officer Scott Spangler has been a member of the Beavercreek Police Department since 1996.  Officer Spangler serves multiple roles in the performance of his duties.  As a Chemical Agents Instructor, Field Training Officer, and ASP Instructor, he prepares the next generation of officers for the highly volatile situations they will encounter in their careers.  Officer Spangler also serves as part of the Regional Emergency Response Team.  He is a shining example of service to one’s community as his position requires him to be on duty during third watch hours, sacrificing time with his family, wife Elizabeth and twin two year old children, Henry and Victoria.
