Patti Davis, Indian Wells

MARA CANTELO

Patti Davis is a mother of three boys who works relentlessly volunteering to be involved in their lives.  She is the PTO President at their school, she is the Fundraising Chairman and committee member of their Palm Desert Cub Scout Pack 131, she also is organizing the opening day ceremonies for their little league baseball.  She gives of herself freely so that others may enjoy, and she never asks for anything in return.  Her husband works as a Correctional Officer in Blyth, CA, well over 90 miles away, so she spends long days taking care of everything while he is at work.  Her love of her country is clearly evident, as her Ford Expedition has a huge flag painted across the hood, and she is always posting things for the troops on her Facebook account.  She also organizes gift baskets for the troops that she sends to them regularly.

Patti Davis is a very special person that has touched the lives of many families by all her hard work and devotion to her own.  I know this because my family has benefited directly from her.  The honor of helping to stitch the 9/11 flag would be something I know she would cherish forever. I am proud to nominate Patti Davis for this service honor.
