John Bayless is a former Naval Flight Officer and a 1993 graduate of the United States Naval Academy. He served his country on active duty until August of 2002. He flew in the back seat of the F-14 Tomcat and the F-18F SuperHornet and was a flight instructor for the SuperHornet. John completed two emergency deployments to the Persian Gulf while attached to VF-154 based at Naval Air Facility Atsugi, Japan. John is a great example to others and a great leader. After leaving the Navy he went to the University of Michigan where he earned his M.B.A. He is now a Director at Mercury Marine in Fond du Lac.
